This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Bluestone Design Group Ltd (trading as Bluestone98) uses on www.bluestone98.com, what they do, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

How consent works on this site

When you first visit, nothing optional is set. A banner offers three choices:

  • Decline all — no analytics or advertising cookies. The site works fully.
  • Analytics only — we measure how the site is used, nothing more.
  • Accept all — analytics plus the advertising cookies listed below.

Your choice is remembered in your browser (see bs98-consent below) and applies until you change it. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie choices link in the footer of every page, which clears your stored choice and shows the banner again. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work, to protect our forms from spam, and to remember your consent choice. They do not need consent.

  • bs98-consent (browser storage, set by us) — records which consent choice you made. Kept until you clear it.
  • Cloudflare (__cf_bm and related cookies) — security and bot protection for the site. Set by Cloudflare, Inc.; expires within about 30 minutes.
  • Google reCAPTCHA (_grecaptcha in browser storage, plus an invisible frame loaded from google.com) — tells real enquiries apart from automated spam on our forms. It runs on every page so a score is ready the moment you submit, and is used only for spam and abuse prevention, never for advertising or analytics. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. The stored value stays until you clear this site’s data; any cookies Google sets sit on google.com under Google’s own policy.

Analytics — set only if you choose “Analytics only” or “Accept all”

  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) — helps us understand which pages are used and how visitors move through the site. Loaded through Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode: if you have not consented, Google receives only cookieless, aggregate pings and no cookies are set. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. Cookies last up to 2 years.

Advertising — set only if you choose “Accept all”

These measure our advertising campaigns and may recognise you on the provider’s own platform. They involve transfers outside the UK (including to the United States) under each provider’s safeguards.

  • Meta Pixel (_fbp and related) — measures our Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (li_gc, bcookie and related) — measures our LinkedIn campaigns. Provider: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company.
  • Microsoft Advertising (UET) (MUID, _uetsid, _uetvid) — measures our Microsoft/Bing campaigns. Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.
  • OpenAI Ads pixel — measures our OpenAI/ChatGPT advertising campaigns, including enquiries sent from our forms. For visitors who accept advertising cookies it may also match hashed (irreversibly encoded) contact details from submitted forms to ad interactions. Provider: OpenAI, L.L.C. (United States).
  • Reddit Pixel (_rdt_uuid and related) — measures our Reddit advertising campaigns, including enquiries sent from our forms. Provider: Reddit, Inc. (United States).

What we do not do

  • No advertising or analytics cookies are set before you make a choice.
  • Declining changes nothing about what you can see or do on the site.
  • We do not sell personal data.
