The Project

Our friends Steve and Karen Halsall purchased The 1,500-acre Summerstone Estate in the area of outstanding natural beauty – Nidderdale in 2015, Keen conservationist, they share an intense passion in wildlife and sustainability. The team headed by Estate Manager Roy Burrows, has now transformed this exceptional corner of English countryside. They have planted over 65,000 trees, sowed acres of wildflowers, reseeded the hay meadows and restored the stunning heather moorlands.
