100,000 marine mammals and turtles are killed by marine plastic pollution annually. Ochien are working to provide a solution to this through making pet products out of recycled ocean plastics, fishing nets and ropes that would otherwise not have been recycled or been lost at sea.
Ochien required a pet-focused, fun identity that presented a solution to the more eco-conscious pet owner. Where purchasing decisions are becoming increasingly based around environmental impact – we presented the brand around the simple idea of ‘reducing your carbon pawprint’. We supported founder Samuel’s mission and launched the brand through web, video, packaging and Kickstarter campaign to ensure that the brand felt positive from every touch point of the purchasing process.
